At what level can a wizard begin affecting a Hill Giant, and what level affect it decently? Also Sand Giants, if there is a difference.

The lighting line is supposed to be one of these spells obviously. I've
never bothered though :)

I just use what ever works. I do prefer outside much more than inside.
It's too hard to run away inside and Jboots only work outside.
