lavastorm is good for bloodstones, which is the reagent that is required for
leatherskin, not shieldskin. shieldskin is cats eye, but i dont know what
mobs carry them (i just buy them from the shopkeepers). but lavastorm is a
good place at lvl 16 anyway. at lvl 16, the best place to go fro wiz items
(and not die a lot) is splitpaw. items that can be obtained from there that
are good for wizards include runed totem staff, polished bone hoop, golden
ear stud, crysknife, and ruby pendant (+1 INT neck). you can also pick up
lots of snakeskin there which sells for descent coins to other players.
once u hit 20, i would go to unrest for wiz items.
