i have enchanter friend, and i pretty much use the same combo (she doesn't
like to use tashan or whatever, but i told her she had no choice with me :).
she lowers mr, then i cast force then flame, then melee, or cast one more
flame (we dont normally root when grouped as the monster never lives long
enough to do any real dmg). when solo'ing, i just dont use force anymore.
too much of a chance for a resist, and if that happens, im stuck with root
(enstill still gets resisted too often), then flame, flame, flame and hope
it goes down (i know, i should be using bolt, but i hate it when it misses).
my 2h blunt (72 maxed), dodge (67), and defense (83) skills are high enough
that i can stand for a bit, but if they resist force, then they resist root,
i'm gonna think about runnin' (mind u, this does happen quite often when i
solo... and it sux. hope it gets better at 24 with frost shock).
