Just so you people who are leaving know, first we all wish you didnt go,
because everyone contributes good things to this list. Secondly I agree
with your point of view and really dont like wading through lots of this
stuff either, but this is a great forum for getting quick answers to
questions.
I use outlook for email and I can keep all the threads organized by grouping
emails by subject. This lets me delete entire threads that are
uninteresting and only read the ones that look promising.
I am sad to see you go but I have to defend the purpose of this list which
is admittedly very broad. This list is for any wizard with a question or a
comment. It is not all what you can GET from reading the list, I see it
more as what I can give and contribute to others, and just a way of relating
stories and communicating. If that is not your cup of tea then we will all
be sorry to see you go.
