In practice, I'd say Lesser Shielding comes *before* Bind Affinity. Affinity
is nice, since at that level, your feet start to itch a lot, but never
underestimate your protection first. That can save you your life (and thus a
lot of XP).
You can always find someone to bind you if you lack it. You cannot have
someone
else cast the Shielding on you (other buffs yes. But not that one).
