Never fire anything

If you are trying to work on your pottery skill, as opposed to actually
making anything, and unless you have fantastic faction and charisma,
you should never fire anything.

To the best of my knowledge (mainly playing a charisma 75 human with
apprehensive merchants), you ALWAYS lose money selling back a fired
product.  You get less than the firing sheet costs.  And you never get
skill improvements from firing anything, because the trivial level is
too low.

If anyone has an experience to the contrary, please let us know the
specifics: which zone, which merchant(s), your charisma, and what
faction level.

Also keep in mind that the faction message ("kindly," "warmly,"
"indifferently," apprehensively") and your charisma are not the only
two factors that determine price.  With the same character and the
same faction level, you may still get two different prices for the
same object from two different merchants.  Some merchants are just
more generous/reasonable than others.
