Its not cost effective at higher levels. Later on your pets start costing a
BUNCH and why run real far away and re summon when you can cast DoT spells
right there and heal your pet at maximum range? Abandoning your pet is only
useful if you are running, otherwise its just better to stick around and
support it. At 16 always try to save around 60 mana if at all possible, if
you are going down to that much anyway then you are fighting the wrong
fights. If it does indeed get through your pet, Feign and wait, then Gate.
Saved my life six times already when I bit off more than I could chew.
