<div id="ygrps-yiv-1084045789">Unless they have changed it, the 16th level pet only uses 2 bone chips.  If<br/>
you want a ton of bone chips and you don&#39;t mind not feeling self sufficient<br/>
then go near the entrance to Halas and pay a newbie to go buy you all the<br/>
chips you could ever use.  I bought 350 bone chips off a newbie when I was<br/>
15th level and I have only dug into half of them by level 24.  Just be<br/>
careful in everfrost, invisibility wouldn&#39;t be a bad idea.<br/>

  I like the self sufficient feeling it gives me!<br/>
  But if I read correctly the 16th lev pet uses 5 bones per cast! that will<br/>
be hard to harvest. So time to buy. It never occurred to me before, but ARE<br/>
there vendors who sell bone chips in quantity? At the guild maybe? I have<br/>
only seen single chips on vendors out in the fields and such...<br/>
