Actually, it's a timing issue.
Anyone with hide can do it, (Sneak not needed.) I do so with my Half-Elf
Ranger, my GF does so with her halfling druid. Apparently invis kicks out
at an earlier point then hide does, so it fails with invis but works with
hide. Now that I'm playing a Tier'Dal necro, I'm glad for that initate hide
=)
