i wouldnt waste many training points in it. just watch and make sure your
focus skill is the one to go over 50... otherwise you'll have a main
specialize you didnt want (ive heard you can now change it, but i dont
know). i made sure alt went over 50, because the bulk of necro spells are
alterations. conjuration is also a good one, your pet spells and many dots
and stuff (shock of poison baby!) are conjuration. there really are no
other good choices for a necro.
