Alteration overall was probably a good choice. Reason being the lifetap line
while not good for dd at high levels are quite good at healing yourself if
your soloing or happen to get a mob on you. The casting time is extremly big
on that line and it's nice to have it speed up some. Plus there are some
other benefits. In specilize you either go with alteration probably number
once choice or conjuration. So you'll be just fine.
