The hermit you are talking about is in the far southwest corner of the lake,
in a little deadend waterway. if you go past that wayerway and go a little
further into the actual southwest corner shoreline, there is a 2aviak guards
spawn point there. There is one other 2 aviak guard spawn point if you go
southeast from the Arena entrance, or about directly south of the 3 aviak
guard point (where Webclaw also spawns in the water). Hope this helps.
