In my opinion you should choose alteration and only alteration as your main
spells. First off your signature spell Lifetap is alteration not to mention
the heat blood series and up to level 34 Heart Flutter is also in
Alteration. I'm a level 35 Necro and I'm happy with my choice I have been
looking my spells over though and it does seem you could do Conjuration also
but since lifetap is your main dd spell at high levels ( 39+ ) then you
should go with alteration the specilize skill makes the lifetap spell a lot
more usefull mana wise. Your probably thinking about your level 44 dd spell
ignite bones problem is this is resisted quite a bit so you still use
lifetap fairly often. Anyway just my opinion.
