A few thoughts...

Travel to Faydwer and hunt the Nybright sisters in Lesser Faydark for money.
They frequently drop small bronze weapons (rapiers, main gauches, daggers,
and the like), and the experience should still be good at your level.

OR, better yet, hunt in oasis, in a group, either crocs or orcs, until you
make 20, and then start worrying about making money. By then you'll be able
to camp a few things (by yourself) that can make you some money.
